Learn more about fees at
The Learning Tree

There are increased subsidies available at Farley Salisbury for many families through government funding.

We have put together a helpful funding guide, if you require more information, please select 'Not sure, help' in the estimator form above to request a copy.

Farley Salisbury Outdoor Nursery School is open 51 weeks a year from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.

The nursery is closed for public holidays, for 3 days over Christmas and for 2 inset days each year. Our fees account for these closures, so no refund is applied.

We want to make life simple for families, so our fees include infant formula, milk, freshly prepared snacks and meals, nappies, wipes, and sun cream.

Parents are welcome to bring in their own nappies, wipes, and sun cream if preferred.

Places are offered in accordance with our Admissions Policy. To register and reserve a place, we take a non-refundable registration fee of £75 and a deposit of £150, which is credited towards your first invoice.

We offer a sibling discount of 5% on the elder sibling’s invoice. And we are pleased to offer the government’s 15 hours and 30 hours funding schemes.

We offer 25% discount on the fifth Full day, as reflected in the 5-day price above. We accept payment by Direct Debit, Tax-Free Childcare or Childcare Vouchers.

Please refer to our Funding Guide and Funding Agreement for more details – select 'Not sure, help' in the funding eligibility section of the fee-estimator form to request a Funding Guide.

Our experienced educators teach children using the Early Years Foundation Stage framework alongside our own Storal approach to curriculum.

Our hybrid approach allows children to reach their full potential at their own pace and in their own time.

At The Learning Tree, children are taught the importance of their immediate environment, from where they live in their community, to the wider world and planet. They learn about interacting with others and having respect for their surroundings through recycling, greener energy, organic produce and natural play resources.

Mealtimes at The Learning Tree are a time for children to refuel, be sociable and learn about nutrition.

Children enjoy family-style mealtimes, eating and learning together in our large dual-aspect dining room.

Healthy snacks and delicious fresh food are cooked every day by our onsite chef using seasonal and local produce when we can. Mealtimes are an opportunity for children to experience new flavours and look forward to their favourite dishes, and older children help with the preparation of food.

A warm welcome to The Learning Tree in Romford.

We’re really proud of our brand-new purpose-built nursery school and the wonderful and imaginative learning environments we’ve created. Because our nursery is design-led we’ve created areas where children can be curious and sociable but also quiet and reflective and these choices extend into our colourful and sensory outdoor play area with its mud kitchen and wooden den.

We work collaboratively and meaningfully with parents so that their child learns and develops in a way that’s right for them and make sure that achievements and milestones are celebrated together.

Come and see our inspiring nursery and begin their early years story at The Learning Tree.

Their next chapter at
The Learning Tree

The Learning Tree’s bright and design-led spaces offer premium care and learning for children aged 3 months to 5 years old.

Nursery for babies image

Babies

Babies explore many opportunities for sensory discovery and gentle play. Our educators will care for your baby and help them learn and develop new skills, from walking to talking. There’s also a cosy reading corner and climbing supports to help physical development.

After a busy morning of exploring and learning, there is time to recharge. We know how important and rejuvenating naps are, and make sure that when they need it, children can sleep.

Toddlers

As their story begins to take shape growing toddlers are given the time and space to be more independent, discover and learn. Toddlers enjoy role play with a mini market and our indoor climbing frame develops movement and co-ordination.

Children also make friends, learn to play alongside each other and become more aware of the world around them. Our experienced educators encourage language development too, starting with simple sounds and building to sentences.

Pre-school

With growing confidence and ability, we prepare our pre-school children for the learning journey ahead with a focus on phonics, numbers and social skills. There are also maths and curiosity stations, a large kitchen area and access to the indoor and outdoor gardens.

Children spend their final year at The Learning Tree preparing for primary school. By this time, they have made firm friendships, experienced our learning environment in full throughout the year and leave us as independent, curious and confident learners, ready for the next chapter of their own story.
